(June 29, 2023. Zhuhai, China) An official press conference was held in the southern coastal city of Zhuhai, China, earlier today to announce pre-show updates for AERO ASIA 2023 taking place Nov. 23-26, 2023, at Zhuhai International Airshow Center.

AERO ASIA was approved by Ministry of Commerce of China, and co-sponsored by Airshow China and AERO Friedrichshafen.  The show will feature indoor/outdoor exhibition, demo flight and aerobatics, covering a spectrum of full industry chain and services, and focusing on emergency rescue, aviation consumption, general aviation operation and UAV.  With the theme of “Get Your Own Wings”, it showcases state-of-the-art technology and will become one of the most influential international general aviation trade show in the world.

The show covers an indoor and outdoor exhibition space of 40,000 sqm, attracting over 140 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, with more than 60 aircraft, either static display or flying display.  Major OEMs and suppliers like AVIC General Aircraft, AECC, Ampaire, Anhui Haery Aviation Power, Wuhu Diamond Aero Engine, Peiport, Bose, Rotax, Schaeffler, will  join the show.  In addition, leading international companies, such as Textron, Bell Helicopter, Boeing BBJ, Embraer, AutoGyro, Pipistrel, Pilatus, Honda Jets, show strong interest in the show.

The show displays not only traditional GA products like Cirrus SR20, AG100/50/60, Diamond DA42 private aircraft, AC352/311A helicopters, but also advanced air mobility (AAM) and sustainable aviation.  An array of eVTOL and e-flight innovative products，such as TCab E20, Volant VE-25, Zerog ZG-One, Ehang EH216-S，will make appearance at the show.  Moreover, Volant, a Chinese eVTOL pioneer, has signed up for 5 editions in a row.

In order to explore future trend in GA sector, 20 forums and seminars on low-altitude economy, aircraft airworthiness, future urban and air mobility, UAV innovation and GA talent will be organized by AOPA China, Flying Pages, etc. Besides, the show will set up “Invest - AERO ASIA” and “Career - AERO ASIA” for financing and talent matchmaking.

More than 20,000 visitors and buyers are invited, including end-users from the field of civil aviation, public security, emergency rescue, agriculture and forestry, maritime, electricity, fire-fighting, surveying, logistics, buyers from venture capital and entrepreneurs,  as well as companies from supply chain, sustainable energy, aviation academies and training schools.

Flying display is the focal point of the show.  Eye-catching aerial maneuvers will be presented to the audience by spectacular aerobatics from home and abroad, including home-grown Sunward Aerobatic Team with SA60Ls, European aerobatic team “Fly-by Knights” with Extra-300Ls, rescue exercise by the 1^st Rescue Flight Team of the South China Sea with EC225/S76D helicopters and solo performances with Extra-300 by the first female aerobatics instructor of China.
